The Ultimate List

Remember my Kitchen Resolutions (here) for 2013? Well, I’m still working on them and I’ve decided to make them a part of something much, much larger. If you read Mackenzie’s Design Darling then you know where I’m going with this…To everyone who doesn’t, let me introduce you to the ultimate to-do list, 101 in 1001. It’s basically a middle ground between to-do lists and your ultimate bucket list. In 1001 days you will complete 101 goals. I personally just loose to-do lists and a bucket list take too long to complete. I like having a more reasonable completion time frame, otherwise I’ll be like 80 trying to jump out of a plane.

I’ve started with the resolutions I have for 2013 and added all the diy’s and home improvements I’ve been putting off. As I complete these or anticipate completing them I’d be happy to share if you’d be interested in my progress. And if you want to join along then I can cross # 14 off the list (14. Inspire someone to make a 101 in 1001) This was one of the Design Darlings and I think it’s a good one, mainly because I was inspired.

Despite all of my list making skills, I still only have 53 things on my list. I know more will come to mind soon but how bout some help?? What’s on your list? What are you tackling for 2013?

I am totally not a resolutions girl, but this is a great way to set realistic, fun goals! Since it’s not tied down to just one year, I might have to set some time aside to do this…

You should make your own list too! I thought it was a happy medium, I’m hoping if I write them all down I’ll feel more “obligated” to complete them ;)

Since I will be moving this year I am attempting to begin the process of donating and thorwing away items that we no longer need. This includes clothing, random items in the basement, even going through my baking cabinet and discarding expired products!

Donating you say…I can think of someone in Cincy who loves a good donation now and then!

I love the idea of 101 in 1001! I’ve tried to start one a few times…but I’ve never stuck to it. Now that it’s a new year, maybe I’ll finally try again :) Good luck! xo

This is my first go at actual goals or resolutions. It’s kind of exciting to have so many things to work towards. I hope you try again this year! And thanks for stopping by the blog!

My LISTS have lists! Oy! I have small notebooks all over the place! My goal for this year is to try to keep myself from getting overwhelmed and making short, “can-do” to-do lists each day, to help keep me motivated and feel accomplished! I am also trying to put some fun things on my list once or twice a week to mix it up and help to give me some “me” time.
