Fancy Fashion: Lots on the Wrists
It seem like there are 2 camps to the New Year where fashion is concerned. The 1st being: Save your pennies and buy stunning tried and true staple pieces. The 2nd being: Save your pennies and mimic looks with inexpensive pieces.
I think I fall somewhere in the middle of the two. I can definitely see value in investing in something that will never go out of style like a sexy pair of black pumps, but at the same time I love little fads and sometimes cannot ignore them.
Last week The Glitter Guide posted on 8 Inexpensive Ways to Update Your Wardrobe. And number 4 stopped me dead in my tracks. I LOVE BRACELETS.

I pinned this look forever ago on my pinterest fashion board and (surprise, surprise) never followed through with it. Clearly I still love the look so I need to do something about this. But…I think I’ll wait till spring (yep, procrastination is my middle name) I’ve gotta wait until these cold days let up so I can expose my arms again!

LOVE a good arm party! I got totally out of control with my bracelet purchasing last year – definitely time to tone it down and figure out new ways to wear my old ones!

Oh dear dear Elisa. When i need to dress up for a fancy party, I am coming over. My fashion purchases consist of finding something that works (collared button-downs for work), I buy 5 of them so that I have one shirt for each day of the week. Can we still be friends?
